What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Your first visit is designed to get to know you and your oral health needs. Depending on your individual situation, your appointment may include:

  • A comprehensive oral health dental hygiene examination.
  • An oral cancer screening.
  • Periodontal (gum) assessment.

  • Dental hygiene cleaning.

  • Fluoride treatment, if recommended or requested.
  • Personalized home care recommendations and education.

Your appointment is tailored to your individual needs, and plenty of time is set aside to answer any questions you may have. New patient appointments are typically booked for two hours.
